As for the story itself I thought it would be funny if the goose was just a regular goose that didn't talk, and was just confused when this random guy popped out of nowhere asking him if he wanted to sell juice. From there I wanted to make subtle commentary on how ads try to be all edgy and cool and gave the Juice Goose the stereotypical 90s cool kid sunglasses and backwards hat.
When creating a juice brand, I wanted to come up with a catchy name that rhymed with juice. So, I went through various words and eventually landed on goose. I went back and forth deciding on if it should be Goose Juice, or Juice Goose, but ended up going with the ladder.
